Seven Little Monsters: A Halloween Poem
(based on "The Night Before Christmas", by Clement Clarke Moore) 'Twas the week before Halloween, and all through the house, All the residents were stirring, except for a mouse. Spooky carved pumpkins sat on the porch, with great care, In hopes of trick-or-treaters soon to be there. Seven monsters were eager for the celebration, ahead, Oh, Seven, don’t lose your head! Throughout the neighborhood, the decorations were spooky, They were ghastly, shocking, and even a bit kooky! Upon returning home, the monsters were mesmerized, Until there was something that Two realized: “There’s a haunted house attraction, in town,” he explained. “But I think it looked a little dull, probably plain.” With their costumes as inspirations, the monsters set to work, And built a spooky walkthrough attraction, complete with Halloween perks. A ghost, a vampire, a clown, a strongman, a genie, A witch, and the Headless Horseman, this walkthrough sure wasn’t teeny. With Mama’s help, the walkthrough was a

Seven Little Monsters: A Monster at the Bat
(based on the poem, "Casey at the Bat", by Ernest Lawrence-Thayer) The outlook wasn’t brilliant for the city’s nine, that day, The score was ten to nine, with but one inning, more, to play. These ladies were some of the finest players, in town, But they were concerned about not getting this year’s crown. Their star player, however, knew they’d win this game, And when it came to loving baseball, she had no shame. In the meantime, this star, in worry, sat. It will be a while before she could go to bat. The star player’s family sat in the stands, a family like any other, Consisting of her six younger siblings, and their very proud mother. The family grew ecstatic, for good luck had just occurred, With Ally on first, Jen on second, and Millie a-hugging third. The star player looked up, carefully adjusting her hat, For she, One, mighty One, was finally getting to bat. There was ease in One’s manner, as she stepped up to her place, While her siblings’ fingers were crossed, a smile lit

FBnCC: Global Warmer's Lament
(a parody of "Jack's Lament", from "The Nightmare Before Christmas") Global Warmer: :music: There are few who deny, at what I do, I am the best, For my talents are renowned, far and wide. When it comes to a spotlight, in the moonlit night, I excel, without ever even trying. With the slightest little effort of my fiery charms, I’ve caused Man-Arctica to shriek! With a wave of my staff, and a well-placed blow, I have swept the very coldest of his feet! But time after time, it’s the same routine, And I’ve grown so weary from the agony of defeat, And I, yes, the fire king, Have grown so tired of the same old thing… Oh, somewhere, deep inside of this core, An emptiness began to grow, There’s something else, unheard of, before, A longing that I’ve never known… I’m a master of flame, but unlucky in fame, Any liars get fire to their pants. From here, to Kentucky, I end up unlucky, And I’ve never seen Italy, or France. Now, some folks have said I’m insane in the head, To create

They don't know what it's like, to have someone just leave you, for no good reason... (singing) Look at my state, isn’t it neat? Wouldn’t you think my misery’s complete? Wouldn’t you think I’m a man, A man who lost everything? Ignore my smile, sadness unfolds, How many teardrops can one fella hold? Lookin’ about me, you’d think, “Yep, he lost everything.” I’ve had freak amputations, aplenty, I’ve had decapitations, galore. And splitting headaches? I had 20. But who cares… about me… anymore? I wanna be where Evelyn is, I wanna see, wanna see her laughin', Lookin' at me, with her Beautiful eyes… Her loving arms leave me in a dizz, Soon, we'll talkin', dancin', laughin', Makin' up, after what supposedly Led to our demise. When will we love? When will we run? When will we have our day, in the sun, Evelyn and me? Wish I could be

(the scene opens on Christina Cooler sitting in her room, and in Man-Arctica's Igloo of Isolation, feeling depressed) Chistina: (sighs) What'll I do? It's like Man-Arctica is keeping me as a prisoner, not a suitor... I wish I could visit Earth, like him, and possibly find a real true love. :music: Hid behind these pillars and these walls of ice and snow, Gazing at the planet, up above me, All my life, I wondered of the places I would go, And maybe someone who would truly love me. All my life, I never saw strange faces, Not imagining they’d ever know me. All my life, I wondered how it’d feel, to pass a day, Not above them… But part of them… And out there, Living in the sun. Give me one day, out there, All I ask is one, To hold forever. Out there, Where they all live on, and where What I’d give… What I’d dare… Just to live One day, out there! Out there, among the citizens, the earthlings, how they thrive, Through the alleyways, and parks, I’d see them. Maybe they would chat, and
